Retaining Walls
Retaining structures where site levels change, set out and checked against the drawings before construction, with drainage behind the wall so it is not holding back water it was never designed for.
Home · Site Infrastructure
Retaining walls, internal roads, drainage, water lines, sumps and amenity areas for villa layouts and gated communities, sequenced so nothing is dug up twice.
What We Do
Buyers judge a layout by its buildings, but they live with its roads, drains and water supply. Get the sequence wrong and a finished road is cut open for a missed pipe, or the first monsoon finds the low corner of the site. We plan the underground first, lay and test it, and only then finish what goes over it.
At Gardens of Delight in Mangalore we hold a direct contract for the site infrastructure alongside the villa structures: retaining walls, internal roads and drainage, water lines, the sump, a play area and a basketball court. Read the case study.
Before Valor Infra, our partners delivered GHMC road and drain packages in Hyderabad, the internal road network at BARC Vizag, and boundary walls and civil works for staff quarters at NTPC Darlipalli.
Scope
Retaining structures where site levels change, set out and checked against the drawings before construction, with drainage behind the wall so it is not holding back water it was never designed for.
Compound walls around layouts and plots, built to the approved alignment and levels.
Formation, sub-base and road construction for internal roads, finished only after the services below them are in and tested.
Drainage networks laid to fall and checked before backfilling, so the site drains the way the drawings say it will.
Water supply lines and underground sumps, coordinated with road and drainage levels and tested before handover.
Amenity areas such as children's play areas and basketball courts, built to the same stage controls as the structures around them.
How We Execute
Survey levels and the services drawings checked together before work starts, so clashes are found on paper, not in a trench.
Retaining walls and drainage ahead of the monsoon; pipes laid and tested before roads are finished over them.
Each layer and line inspected and recorded before it is covered, because buried work cannot be checked later.
Progress tracked against quantities, with photo records of everything that goes underground.
Trench edges, shoring and machine movement managed, with PPE and daily toolbox talks.
Common Questions
Yes. Infrastructure-only packages are welcome, for villa layouts, gated communities and institutional campuses. We can also run it alongside our own structural package, as we do at Gardens of Delight.
The layout plan, a levels or contour survey, the drainage and water supply drawings, and the soil report if there is one. With those we can prepare a measured BOQ rather than a lump-sum guess.
We execute to your architect's and consultant's drawings, and flag clashes between services, roads and levels before work starts. If you need someone to coordinate the consultants for you, see our project management service.
Stage-wise on measured quantities against the agreed BOQ, with levels and measurements recorded as the work goes in, so buried work is never a matter of memory.
Earlier than most people plan. Retaining walls and storm-water drainage protect the site through the monsoon, and every line that runs under a road has to be laid and tested before the road is finished.
